Letter tracing, a picture hunt for words that begin with the /s/ sound, and a matching game connecting S words to simple pictures.
How to do it
- Print both pages.
- Trace the big and little letter S, saying “sss” each time.
- Say each picture name aloud and circle the ones that start with S.
- On page two, match each S word to its picture, then draw another S word.

Tips for grown-ups
- Say each picture word aloud, stretching the first sound: "sssun."
